“I first heard iamamiwhoami at a restaurant in london a few years ago. After hearing them I emailed my manager, Eric, and asked ‘have you heard of this band iamamiwhoami?’ and he wrote back, ‘yes, we manage them’.

When they asked me to do a remix for them I happily said ‘yes’, as i’m a fan of theirs. And when I heard the song they wanted me to remix i realized that i didn’t want to deconstruct it and change it, but rather just add melodic and structural elements to it, to enhance what they’d already done.”

One other thing, I absolutely love Natasha's lyrics. They're incredible. I love all of the references she makes to nature. And I've been watching some the music videos, and they are so creative. She reminds me of Jonna Lee a little bit.

YEAH definitely!! Oh Yeah reminds me of Jonna a bit. I also thought when it came out that the video for All Your Gold is like a beautiful cross between Lotus Flower and Goods.

Anne! I have fallen hard for Bat for Lashes last week. I can't stop listening to Fur and Gold. It's such a gorgeous album! What is your favorite album?

AHH I’M SO GLAD!!! She is amazing and I love her so much!!! Favorite album would be a verrrrrry close race between Two Suns and The Haunted Man, I’m not sure which one I would pick. Fur and Gold has some of my favorite songs though, like Bat’s Mouth and The Wizard!
